WinServ is made for MSP use. Its goal is simple – greatly reduce the amount of time and effort you spend on migrating your clients’ servers, and turn those migrations into profitable, high-margin jobs.
Most of our MSP partners use it as part of their toolkit, rather than reselling it to the end-user. While it can save untold amounts of effort, it still requires a professional behind the wheel. You still need to handle initial server install and provisioning, and you still need to handle server roles (DC, AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange) and incompatible applications (i.e. incompatible with the target OS), and post-migration tasks such as DNS adjustments and general server maintenance. WinServ won’t be able to replace solid MSP work; it just helps you get the job done much more efficiently.
